#105 name and percentage of boss health need to be 1 pixel higher FIXED
LOW Monsters & NPCs reported by Drew · 2026.08.07 · updated 2026.08.11
when in a boss battle the name and percentage of the boss's health is slightly to low what makes it appear like there is a underscore in the name. this needs to be moved up by 1 pixel

Confirmed — and "looks like there's an underscore under the name" is a good description of what's happening.

The bar behind the text is 20 pixels tall. The text with its black outline works out to an odd height, so when it's centred it can't land exactly in the middle and rounds down by one pixel. That pushes the letters onto the bar's bottom edge, and the dark edge showing just under the letters is what reads as an underline.

It's a one-pixel nudge upward on the label — no change to the bar, the portrait or the fill. Fixing it now.

Separately, I should flag that the name and percentage themselves are ours: the original v83 boss bar is just the monster's portrait, the track and the coloured fill, with no text on it at all. We added the label because a bar with no numbers is hard to test against. Say the word if you'd rather it matched v83 exactly and I'll take the text off instead of nudging it.

Fix shipped — this is now on develop and will be in the next build.

The diagnosis is in the comment above; this is just to confirm the change is written, type-checked, built and pushed rather than only planned. Please re-test when the next build goes up and reopen if it is still wrong.
