Checked this one against the v83 script and it is authentic, so I am not changing it.
Mr. Thunder's refine prompt is `sendGetNumber(prompt, 1, 1, 100)` - a flat 1..100 range. The v83 server sends that same fixed cap for every refiner regardless of what you are carrying; it does not look at your inventory. So 'MAX' offering 100 is what the real game does.
You are right that it is a poor prompt - it lets you ask for more than you can make. But clamping it would be us diverging from v83, and the refine itself already refuses what you cannot afford. Marking WON'T FIX for parity; say the word if you would rather have the nicer behaviour and I will treat it as a deliberate house rule instead.
