WHAT IS MAPLEVERSE?
MapleVerse is a faithful fan-made remake of classic-era MapleStory — rebuilt to run entirely in your web browser. There is no client to download and no installer: click play, pick a channel, and you're on Maple Island like it's 2005.
- The real classic world — Maple Island, Victoria Island and Ossyria, with the original maps, monsters, NPCs and quests.
- All five jobs — Warrior, Magician, Bowman, Thief and Pirate, with 2nd, 3rd and 4th job advancement.
- Play together — a shared co-op world with parties, buddies, guilds, player shops and the Free Market. No PvP.
- Authentic everything — original interface, damage formulas, drops and quest dialogue, ported 1:1.
Is MapleVerse free?
Yes. MapleVerse is completely free to play. It is an unofficial fan-made project
with no purchases and no cash shop — the in-game currency, "Vesos", is a
fictional in-game currency unrelated to any real token, economy, or platform.
Do I need to download anything?
No. MapleVerse runs entirely in your web browser — no download, no client,
and no install. Just click play, pick a channel, and you're on Maple Island.
What version of MapleStory is this?
MapleVerse is a remake of classic MapleStory (GMS v0.83, pre-Big-Bang), rendered
in the authentic 800×600 classic client. It covers Maple Island, Victoria
Island and Ossyria, plus Masteria, with all five job classes, 2nd/3rd/4th job
advancement, and about 1,400 authentic quests.
Is this official or affiliated with Nexon?
No. MapleVerse is an unofficial fan-made project and is not affiliated with Nexon
or MapleStory Universe.
