PARTIES, GUILDS & THE KERNING PQ
MapleVerse is a shared world — you'll level faster and laugh more with company.
Parties
- Press P to open the party window; invite anyone on your map or buddy list.
- Party members share a HUD frame, and EXP from monsters is split among members near the kill — bigger monsters are worth partying for.
- The party leader can pass leadership and kick — usual etiquette applies.
Buddies
R opens your buddy list. Add friends by character name; you'll see them online across channels and can whisper from anywhere.
Guilds
- Create a guild through the guild window (G) — pick a unique name, pay the founding fee, and recruit.
- Your guild name shows under your character for everyone to see.
- Guild masters can promote ranks and manage the roster from the same window.
The Kerning Party Quest (levels 21–30)
The classic first PQ, run from the top of the construction site in Kerning City. You need a party of the right size, in the level range, and a leader to talk to Lakelis.
- Stage 1 — everyone collects coupons from Ligators and passes them to the leader. Turn them in to clear.
- Stage 2 — the ropes: party members hang on the correct combination of ropes while the leader checks. Classic trial and error — call your positions in chat.
- Stage 3 — same idea on platforms: find the right combination of standing spots.
- Stage 4 — clear the monsters and beat King Slime. Hit hard, watch the bounce.
- Bonus — grab what you can before the timer boots you out.
Rewards: strong EXP for the level range and the classic prize pool. Rinse and repeat — "PQ all day" was a lifestyle for a reason.
Tip: shout for members in the Kerning channel chat, or arrange runs
on the forum's party board.
